DESCRIPTION:Huaxia Paper Cutting Museum\, established in 2000 by Qin Shijiao\, represents the Qin family — a distinguished lineage of paper-cutting artists with a history spanning over 140 years and six generations. To date\, more than 30 artists from the family have mastered both paper-cutting and traditional illustration. \nThe museum preserves over 18\,000 items\, including original paper-cuttings\, published works\, and related cultural artifacts. Its exhibitions are organized into three main sections: \n\nSeven galleries showcase traditional folk paper-cutting styles from across China\, each representing a unique technique and regional aesthetic.\nOne gallery dedicated to contemporary creative works.\nOne gallery features works by the Qin family.\n\nIn addition to its archival collections\, the museum is open to the public free of charge and offers hands-on workshops where visitors can experience the art of paper-cutting firsthand. \nOpening Hours: 9:30-12:00 a.m.\, 2:00-5:00 p.m. (Ticket checking before 16:30）

DESCRIPTION:If your trip is under 10 days\, we recommend a 2-hour hands-on pottery experience\, perfect for beginners with no prior experience. The session guides you through the entire process—from learning about and preparing clay\, to exploring various forming techniques such as wheel-throwing and hand-building\, and finally\, decorating\, glazing\, and understanding the firing process. It’s easy to get started and deeply rewarding to create something with your own hands. \nThe studio is equipped with professional pottery wheels and spacious crafting areas. We offer one-on-one or custom sessions in a private studio upon request. If you are a group\, we can host up to 45 people/parent-child groups simultaneously\, with dedicated instructors guiding each group through the hand-building process. The experience is fun and engaging for both adults and children. \nOnce your piece is shaped\, you’ll have the opportunity to paint and glaze it yourself\, adding a personal touch. After drying\, your work will be fired in a sealed kiln. The firing process takes approximately 3 to 7 days (with delivery later to your hotel)—perfect for travelers who want to take their handmade creation home as a memorable keepsake.
