Changsha Tongguan Kiln Museum
January 1 – December 31

The Changsha Tongguan Kiln Museum is a stoneware museum dedicated to showcasing over 1,300 years of Tang-dynasty ceramic culture from the historic Tongguan kilns in Changsha. The museum features seven exhibition halls with a total display space of 5,200 m², and houses a collection of 6,200 Tang-dynasty ceramic artifacts, including 1,200 complete masterpiece pieces.
It’s an excellent place to explore the Belitung shipwreck — a stunning glimpse into the Maritime Silk Road.
You can also experience the complete ceramic-making journey, from clay mining and wheel throwing to carving, glazing, and firing.
Don’t miss the indoor and outdoor kiln exhibits, connected by a free shuttle car, offering a vivid, hands-on look at ancient pottery craftsmanship.
