Itinerary and Options for Hemi Peak Mountain Tour
Mountain climbing and city escapes at your own pace, with a driver-guided tour from the city all along the way to the countryside.
We will pick you up from your hotel and drive to the Hemi Peak Mountain area. Alternatively, you can take a taxi from your hotel to the destination or meet us at Wangcheng Zhengrong Commercial Center. We recommend waking up early to avoid the heat.
The journey offers two options:
Panoramic Challenge Route
South Gate → Dongtian Fudi → Mifeng Ancient Trail → Heimi Ancient Temple → Weather Tower → Xiaoxiang Tianchi → South Gate | Approx. 3 hours | ★★★☆☆ | Suitable for hiking enthusiasts and those with good physical fitness
Start from the South Gate and ascend via the Mifeng Ancient Trail, a stone-step path carved in the Tang Dynasty with sections as steep as 87 degrees, requiring hand-and-foot climbing. Along the way, pass cultural relics like Dongbin Rock and Huaisu Thatched Cottage, reaching Heimi Ancient Temple in about 40 minutes. The temple, with its red walls and black tiles, is an excellent photo spot. At the summit, enjoy distant views of the Weather Tower (Hunan’s first Doppler radar). Descend via Xiaoxiang Tianchi, a serene “mountain-top lake” surrounded by peaks, with mirror-like water. We suggest a half-loop around the lake to experience its breathtaking “water and sky as one” scenery.
Leisure Experience Route
North Gate → Reservoir (Xiaoxiang Tianchi) → Heimi Ancient Temple → Return via same route | Approx. 1.5 hours | ★☆☆☆☆ | Suitable for families with children and seniors
Drive to the North Gate and head directly to Xiaoxiang Tianchi Reservoir (navigate to “Heimi Peak Reservoir”). After parking, a gentle 20-minute walk leads to the ancient temple. On the return, visit Xianmi Lake or enjoy local specialties like sesame bean tea and homegrown vegetables at a nearby farmhouse.
Classic Scenery: Mifeng Ancient Trail
The Mifeng Ancient Trail is shaded by dense forests, offering respite from the heat despite its nearly 600-meter elevation. The trail is quiet, with only birdsong and the refreshing scent of negative oxygen ions in the air, creating a serene and invigorating experience.
Equipment Requirements:
- Backpack: 20L backpack.
- Clothing: Athletic or casual wear, rainproof and sun-protective gear, sports or hiking shoes.
- Snacks: Beef jerky, chocolate, raisins, drinks, water, fruit, etc., for energy replenishment.
- Personal Items: Trekking poles, sunglasses, a wide-brimmed hat, and personal medications.
- Other: We will prepare a Camera, a power bank, garbage bag.
- Note: Weather can be unpredictable; please bring rainproof and sun-protective items.
Terms & Conditions
1. Nature of the Experience
- The Climing Tour is a cultural and leisure experience organized by the Provider.
- The content offered (such as stories, route suggestions, or cultural highlights) is for entertainment and reference only.
2. Participant Responsibilities
- Participants must ensure they are physically fit and capable of completing the walk.
- Participants are responsible for their own safety, belongings, and personal health during the experience.
- Participants agree to follow the instructions and respect public spaces and other participants.
- It is strongly recommended that participants obtain personal accident or travel insurance before joining.
- Participants must be at least 18 years old with full legal capacity, confident in their physical condition, and regularly engage in outdoor activities. The safety and responsibility of children or additional attendees fall entirely on their guardians or the person registering them. The organizer and fellow participants bear no duty of care or legal responsibility.
3. Liability Disclaimer
- Outdoor activities involve numerous uncontrollable factors, with varying geographical environments, intensities, technical difficulties, and risks. Participants should choose activities based on their physical condition, experience, and equipment. By choosing to participate, registrants acknowledge that they have made a reasonable judgment and agree to assume all risks associated with the activity, including those related to transportation or third-party facilities.
- In the event of an accident that is unforeseeable or unavoidable despite foresight, compensation will be covered by the insured insurance company, and the Host will not be held liable, except where required by law. If an accident occurs due to a participant’s failure to follow activity rules or the Host’s instructions, the participant is solely responsible and must compensate for any losses caused to others.
- Please carefully assess your personal condition before registering. All registrants are deemed to accept this disclaimer, and those registered on behalf of others are deemed to have informed them of these terms and obtained their acceptance.
- The Provider is not responsible for third-party services (such as restaurants, shops, or transportation) that may be encountered along the route.
- Information shared during the experience is provided in good faith but may not always be accurate or complete.
4. Intellectual Property
- All materials related to the CityWalk experience (including route design, activities, and content) remain the intellectual property of the Provider.
- They may not be copied, reproduced, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
5. Media & Publicity
- By attending the experience, participants consent to the Provider using photographs or videos taken during the activity for promotional purposes, unless they explicitly request otherwise in writing.
6. Governing Law
- These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the location where the experience is held.
- Any disputes shall be resolved through friendly negotiation, and if necessary, through the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
Refund Policy
All cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. No refunds for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the tour start time.
