Where Our Journey Began

FindChina Tour was founded by three individuals from three different generations — the ’80s, ’90s, and 2000s — each bringing a unique perspective shaped by their era.

Our startup journey began in Leeds, UK, in 2022. By 2024, we had successfully executed our strategic expansion into the Chinese market, helping multiple industries embrace global transformation.

In 2025, inspired by China’s rising wave of cultural tourism innovation, we launched a next-generation digital platform—reimagining how global travelers engage with culture.

United by a shared passion for travel and cultural connection, three visionary founders came together to create a platform that bridges the communication gap and cultural differences often faced by foreigners traveling in China. The goal? To offer deeper insights, smoother experiences, and more meaningful journeys for international visitors exploring this vast and diverse country.

Where Ideas Take Shape
We’ve moved into our new office and equipped it with an all-in-one smart whiteboard — perfect for team collaboration and idea generation. Together, we’ve been brainstorming and drafting the structure of our website, aiming to create a truly unique travel experience that blends both online convenience and offline authenticity.
Our vision is to build a 3D immersive website where travelers can explore hotels and scenic spots virtually before they even arrive.
We’re also developing an “Explorer” feature — a space where users can interact with us for travel ideas, helping us shape and refine future itineraries based on real-time community feedback.
07 – 2025
Website Goes Live
In July, we officially launched the first version of our website — a key milestone in our journey. This initial release gave us the opportunity to share our vision with partners and start engaging with early customers. We were fortunate to welcome our first two visitors from Australia, Gabriel and Hayden, who explored Wangcheng with us. To celebrate this milestone, we offered them a complimentary city driving experience, marking the beginning of our customer journey.
For now, the website gives visitors a glimpse of what’s to come. Over the next few months, we’ll continue adding more destinations, interactive elements, and functionalities, steadily evolving toward a more complete and immersive tour platform.

Our Hometown, Our Starting Point

We visited the Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and the Wangcheng District Bureau of Culture and Tourism where we received books and videos recommending local destinations. These resources helped us shape our content and share authentic experiences from the Hunan region. We also improved the UX experience of our Explorer section. Through this section, overseas agencies can now use our platform to design and refine travel routes, while their clients can rely on our contracted local travel agencies to deliver the on-the-ground services. We luckily build connections with three overseas travel agencies and learned the painpoints.

We offer flexible options to create a unique journey tailored to your preferences. Under the “Explore” section, you can browse destinations, add them to your wishlist, and submit an inquiry. Based on your selected locations, we’ll craft a personalized proposal, suggesting an itinerary duration and tailored recommendations to meet your needs. Please provide details such as the number of people in your group and your expectations for the journey. A fee applies for the customized proposal, but it will be refunded if you proceed with our plan.
